An insurance plan, previously only available for iOS, offering up to three years of assistance from certified Apple technicians and additional hardware coverage that allows for two instances of accidental damage repair, each at an additional cost of 99.00 euros (for screen or exterior shell damage), or 259.00 euros for other damages.
The insurance coverage begins from the date of AppleCare+ purchase.
