Objectives of the call for proposals
The notice aims at the creation of spaces and workshops for education and training for ecological transition and is divided into two actions:
The call for proposals is divided into two actions with different purposes, interlocutors, and maximum expenses:
● the first action "Edugreen: sustainability workshops for the first cycle" foresees the setting up of educational, innovative, and sustainable gardens and vegetable gardens, within one or more complexes of first cycle educational institutions or comprehensive institutes;
● the second action "Green, sustainable, and innovative workshops for second cycle schools" aims to promote the creation of laboratory environments for ecological transition in second cycle schools.

Call for proposals for ecological transition EDU GREEN
Action 1 - Edugreen: sustainability workshops for the first cycle
Up to €25,000 per project
Who it addresses: state educational institutions of the first cycle and comprehensive institutes Italy - NoVDA and Trentino
What can be financed
This action foresees the creation or rearrangement of educational vegetable gardens and gardens for didactic purposes, innovative and sustainable, to requalify gardens and courtyards, transforming them into environments for exploration and learning of curricular disciplines, sciences, arts, nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and sustainability.
Admissible interventions:
● supply and installation of raised beds and related accessories
● purchase of tools and kits for educational gardening
● purchase of soil monitoring meters, hydroponic cultivation equipment, irrigation and water pumping equipment, small greenhouse construction, domestic garden composters
● purchase of products and tools for agriculture, also 4.0 type, suitable for the school garden
● purchase of renewable energy production systems for the operation of garden equipment, including installation
● carrying out any small adaptation and/or land preparation works and any short training activities on the use of the purchased goods for didactic purposes
Action 2 – Green, sustainable, and innovative workshops for second cycle schools in the regions of the South
Up to €130,000 per project
Who it addresses
All state second cycle educational institutions with priority for agricultural schools
What can be financed
This action aims at the creation of educational workshops on “agriculture 4.0”, also using hydroponic technologies, digital systems for crop monitoring based on IoT (Internet of Things), digital tools for quality, food safety, product traceability, laboratories for sustainable nutrition, for the use of renewable energies and energy efficiency, on environmental sustainability to study and experiment the impacts of economic activities on the environment, waste production, air quality, water, energy, soil, and other natural resources consumption, and waste recycling
Admissible interventions are aimed at the purchase of:
● equipment for agriculture 4.0 and hydroponic cultivation
● smart and precision tools for crop monitoring, digital tools for quality, food safety, product traceability
● innovative equipment for distribution, machines and equipment suitable for sustainable agriculture,
● composting tools,
● kits and tools for studying and experimenting with renewable energies,
● tools and equipment for healthy and sustainable nutrition,
● small adaptation and/or land preparation works, where necessary
