How to promote students' learning by preparing them for the future? The keyword is increasing digital skills: this is the objective of the three-year agreement signed by Apple, MIUR, and the Permanent Observatory on Youth-Publishers.
The agreement aims to carry out actions to consolidate the use of digital technology in Italian schools, promoting initiatives aimed at supporting processes of educational and pedagogical innovation.
Apple and Opge will provide services and resources for professional training of teachers in the field of digital teaching: among other activities, the activation of a help desk to support teachers from a didactic and methodological point of view is planned.
In particular, Apple will support innovative teaching and learning through Apple Teacher, a professional training program that offers materials and content for using Apple technology in education, promoting the free resources "Creativity for All”, “Everyone Can Code” and “Develop in Swift” through webinars and events with certified teachers.
The agreement, among its missions, also aims to experiment with solutions to modify traditional learning environments and make resources available periodically to support schools, teachers, and parents in creating stimulating remote learning experiences, as well as enhancing important skills for study and work.
Week of the Agreement
From February 1 to 5, every day, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, there will be free online meetings, with the same agenda, aimed at illustrating to Italian teachers and school leaders what has already been achieved in our schools and Apple's commitment to education. Access is only possible after registering at this link.
